If you working for On-page SEO then it is obvious to use Sitemap Submission as it will allow your webpages to get in search on google! but before we get into this do we really know what sitemap is???
I guess most of you know this information but those who are new in the world of SEO should need to check this definition.
"Sitemap is a list of webpages in a website which works by robots.txt on web crawlers such as search engines"
this is the best simple way to understand that an XML file that is crawled by sitemap through robots.txt
Now the deal is how to get this sitemap in a simple way?
I will share some steps
- Go to https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ and generate a sitemap by submitting your website name here.
- Get the XML file and download it to your desktop.
- upload this bunch of XML file in your DOMAIN HOSTING.
- You are all done!
after updating this you need to ensure that your site is connected with Google Search Console Console. Now go to the Google search console and update the sitemap submission of your domain.
The final step is to check the sitemap as I have already shared in my blog go check
The second step is to write your domain name (yourdomainsitemap.xml) check this information on the browser. you will the list of all web pages which is in a queue for google index.
